Great list indeed! Does anybody know of a broader database of travel blogs? I am trying to create a location/travel-blog-post based map, so one can see different points of view of a certain location. Thanks!

I’d say the list is as intriguing as anything. Some of the posts in those blogs have actually inspired me to take a Road Trip this summer. And it was fantastic, driving my Campervan to the roads and streets of Sydney and Adelaide was just a delight. Will try to hit the road in May once again. Chow.

Great list, thanks for sharing Matt! Some of the blogs you mentioned have been bookmarked on my computer for a while (like A Blonde Abroad and Alex in Wonderland). Others, like Skift and View From The Wing, are new to me and since I’m always looking for some background info and better understanding of what’s going on in the travel and aviation industry, they’ll be bookmarked as well 😉

Travel stream is all about adapting to advances in technology, utilising them throughout the travel booking and research phases, and mixing that with the traditional “face-to-face” model.
